Your Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Astrological Sign
This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the community. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to players developing strong opinions on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.
With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique appearances that emphasize their personalities, one thought naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of both and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.
Taurus – Super Heracross
Much like a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of treats. Many previous official descriptions mention their craving for sweet sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Observe this total royalty. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to hear. Just like an captivating, sociable Gemini, it's very easy to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s official description also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.
Cancer – Mega Manectric
The Crab is widely regarded as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for frequently becoming wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous amount of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. It is also recognized for its capability to create a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Oh, did you assume I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Besides the reality that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, based on your preference). Fans were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is perfectly represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a strategy.
Libra – Super Audino
Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry more about everyone else.
Scorpio – Super Banette
Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a performance. As a Archer myself, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.
Aquarius – Super Chandelure
Detached air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame typing fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's overall daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
